Watch Us Make Baked Brie!<3

How to prepare Baked Brie:
• 1 (8ounce) wheel Brie Cheese
• ½ (17.5 ounce Package frozen puff pastry
• Raspberry preserve ( as much or as little as you would like)
• 1 egg white

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees & lightly grease a cookie sheet.
Step 2: Slice 1 wheel of brie cheese in half so you have 2 circles. Spread raspberry preserves on the center portion of the cheese, making a sandwich. Wrap the entire wheel of brie with 1 puffed pastry sheet. Flip the entire creation onto the prepared cookie sheet so that the seam is on the bottom. Brush the puffed pastry with the egg white.
Step 3: Bake for 30 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and Voilà! Serve immediately.

Tomorrow I will be tailgating for the UNC vs. UVA game. I am exciting to announce what I will be bringing to share with the crowd of tailgaters :Corn,Black Bean, & feta Salsa. This salsa has a sweet and salty taste which is my favorite combination and I love anything with feta cheese. I hope it is a crowd pleaser and if it’s not, then hey….more for me! 🙂

  • 1 (15 ounce) can sweet corn, drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup vidalia onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled


 Step 1: In a medium bowl, mix together olive oil, cider vinegar and sugar.

Step 2: Add onion, beans and corn.

Step 3: Stir in feta and allow marinating in the refrigerator for at least one hour.

***It gets better, the longer it sits!***
